The day-to-day


  • Partnering across Viasat teams and organization to ensure a smooth-running business
  • Develop and deliver on key strategic and revenue growth objectives in collaboration with leadership, targeting both short- and long-term goals
  • Responsible for creating the five-year Strategy Plan and annual Operations Plan
  • Regional P&L responsibility with commercial/financial accountability, with monthly reporting to Segment President
  • Coordination and implementation of P&L process across the business (in conjunction with finance and other business areas)
  • Strategic growth of the current airline portfolio and collaborating with Business Development for additional airline growth within the region
  • Responsible for internal reporting for regional growth of aircraft in service as well as average revenue per aircraft
  • Build and grow relationship across multiple airline functional areas to establish position as a trusted advisor to the customer
  • Serve as escalation tier for the airline, participate and prepare for Executive Review Meetings/Quarter Business Reviews with airline within the region
  • Provide contract execution oversight in conjunction with regional CSM lead
  • Manager a team of CSMs (Customer Success Managers) who serve as the main focal point for customer needs and requirements for all aspects of the Viasat system and service to deliver and grow the accounts
  • Manage a globally dispersed, cross-functional, matrix organization of engineers, developers, operations, logistics and field support as part of the customer program
  • Be a problem solver that leads by finding solutions and de-escalating issues internally and externally


What you'll need


  • Strong experience of Customer facing Account Management / Customer Success Management experience in a technology-oriented organization
  • Previous airline, IFEC supplier or OEM experience 
  • Salesforce experience
  • Ability to live in and/or frequently travel to the Middle East, and work remotely
  • Software and hardware development oversight experience
  • Business development experience
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong program management and organizational skills with the ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically when implementing products and solving problems
  • Proficient in productivity applications such as Excel and Project
